About Sean Harris

Some lawyers delegate the hard stuff. Sean Harris puts on his boots and goes to his client’s job site – because that’s where serious injury cases start.

When someone’s been crushed by machinery, thrown from a tractor, or left unable to work after a serious crash, the impact goes far beyond the injury itself. It means lost income, surgeries, stress, and families scrambling to stay afloat.

Sean knows that investigating the scene firsthand is the first step toward holding the responsible parties accountable. For 25 years, he’s shown up, dug in, and fought hard for his clients when everything is on the line.

“My experience at Harris Law firm was exceptional. I was treated like a friend, not just a client. My personal injury case was lengthy and took over a couple years to settle. Sean always kept in contact and advised me on what he thought was best for my case. He handled everything with the insurance company and stood up for my rights. I trust and highly recommend this firm. Thank you for all your help.”

~ Becky B.

Sean grew up in Toledo, watching his father represent people who’d been seriously injured on the job. To him, it was more than just a job. It was making a difference in people’s lives.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Sean has built his career as a trusted Ohio accident lawyer focused on protecting injured workers and accident victims. His approach is grounded in the same principle that guided his father. He believes in standing up for people against corporations and insurance companies and giving every case the care and attention it deserves.

Sean has been handling personal injury cases since his first day out of law school. His cases involve serious fractures, amputations, fatalities, and long-term disability. He represents injured workers and their grieving families: everyday Ohioans who suddenly find themselves in a fight they never asked for. He keeps a hard hat, boots, and safety glasses in his car, and doesn’t think twice about getting his hands dirty at an inspection.

Outside of his practice, Sean has been a leader in the broader legal community. He’s served as President of the Ohio Association for Justice, testified at the Statehouse to protect injured Ohioans’ rights, and hosts the podcast Civilly Speaking. He also speaks regularly to attorneys across the state about trial strategy and personal injury law.

But what keeps him going isn’t the accolades. It’s the people.

Sean believes that having a compelling, credible client is the foundation of a strong case. And he believes that helping someone navigate the legal system after a life-changing injury is an incredible responsibility.

For him, personal injury law isn’t about chasing money. It’s about standing up to insurance companies and corporations that treat injured workers like disposable parts. It’s about showing up when someone’s lost their job, their health, or a family member, and making sure they’re not alone.

Sean lives in Worthington with his wife and three kids. He’s a pilot, Ohio Wesleyan and Ohio State fan, and handyman around the house. But no matter the setting, Sean brings the same grit and care to every case because doing it right means showing up, digging in, and fighting hard for the people who need it most.
